Fantastic! Michael improved my ball striking dramatically. I went from shooting 115 ish to breaking 100 and shooting high 90s consistently after I practiced our lesson content. We worked on ball striking, aiming/alignment, putting, and more. Michael really took his time to explain the essential details of the golf swing that I was struggling with the most. He took videos of my swing and I could tell he spent plenty of time outside our lesson dissecting every aspect of my swing and make the most of our lesson time. Also, Michael is fun and very respectful. Always on time and cared a lot about my progress. GET A LESSON.

Michael was a great instructor! I went through a 4 lesson beginner package with him, having never played golf before. I was invited on a golf trip, and took these lessons going into it. I didn’t have wild expectations of being great, I just wanted to hold my own with friends. I ended up exceeding my personal expectations and the group was surprised that it was my first time playing. Michael’s process of building the swing from small to large built good fundamentals that I was able to rely on when I was on the course playing! I’m very excited to continue to pick up the sport and will be returning for lessons to bring my game to the next level!

Look no further!! Michael is truly a gifted teacher and I have learned so much from him already in just a handful of lessons, and have seen much improvement. He is also very outgoing, kind and patient, and able to work with all skill levels. He's very intuitive at picking up on even the smallest nuances of one's swing, to help make little tweaks that result in big improvements. He's the best in my opinion!!

I did his beginner program where it was 3 classes and we went over Putting, chipping and pitching. The 1st class I was amazed on the detail and time he took to explain everything he was teaching you. He was so specific and detailed on everything he taught you. He was very laid back as well, I enjoyed the small talk he had with me while working with me instead of just practicing in silence.
He gives you the tools but you have to practice outside of class in order to reap the full benefits of with coach.
I look forward to doing his intermediate class and watch my game evolve even more!

Lortan is the man. One thing I am a firm believer in is that life is not a textbook and even more so in the game of golf. Not everyone is 6’2, slender waisted, with lanky lean arms and thus he structures his lessons based of your thought process and natural abilities. He is a phenomenal listener. I feel most pros just want you to come back time after time trying to have you reinvent the wheel, but he cares about what it takes to make you successful. Its not all about the technical aspects of your game with him either, and I truly enjoy the off conversations we have about other subjects during our time because it brings the process back to earth. I highly recommend anyone at any level to come see him, and If I could give him 10 stars I would. Thank you.

I simply cannot rave enough about Lortan Golf! He is the best golf coach you can ever ask for. He is very methodical, systematic, and knowledgeable. The flow of his lessons are so that you can easily grasp the game of golf; he starts from the basics, and then slowly work to improve your golf swings. I was a complete beginner when I started and over three lesson my swings improved dramatically. I could actually putt, chip, and pitch. I still have some ways to go, but I am so grateful to Michael for helping me improve my game.

Highly recommend Michael. I did the 3 session introductory. Played golf casually in the past, very inconsistent. In 3 sessions, so much happier with how I strike the ball. Will definitely take some more lessons with Michael to address specific issues and needs.

Michael was exactly what I was looking for in a golf instructor starting off. Lortan is not only an amazing trainer but an all around class act person. Lortan has taken the time to show me the fundamentals of the game in a short period of time and has helped make the game more enjoyable for me. Lortan golf worked with me on chipping first because that was my biggest opportunity to work on. I shaved off several strokes each round after that! I was completely new to golf but had played sports. I thought golf would be easier than other sports but I learned quickly golf is not like that. Michael taught me all the basics as well as those creative shots you need for getting out of trouble. Today I love golf so much.. Michael was my only instructor as a beginner to a low handicap index of 8.3. He is very good at communicating the “why” shots aren’t working and helping you correct the underlying reasons we pull, hook, slice or fade unintentionally. He is tenacious and if you love to learn you will get your game right with him. Super affordable too.
